Players start at level one and as they gain experience, they can reach the highest level which is 30. Various perks are available to players at higher levels. These include new maps, new abilities and other game modes.

As players progress to higher levels, they get a chance to unlock Rune which may be significant in eSports League of Legends betting. Runes has the following categories: Seals, Glyphs, Marks and Quintessences. Runes can be used to give small bonuses during battle to summoner's champions.
